Singapore Strikes Gold in Tokyo 2020!
Singapore’s Joseph Schooling made history by winning a gold medal in the men’s 100m butterfly event, coming ahead of his rivals from the world’s best swimming countries. The 26-year-old swam with incredible speed and precision, finishing the race in 51.84 seconds. This was Singapore’s first-ever Olympic gold medal in swimming and the country’s second gold in history.

Yeo Jia Min, the national badminton player, reached the quarter-finals in the women’s singles category and put up a good fight against her opponent.
